Our team recently completed a major Dexion pallet racking installation for Giraf Logistics (UK) Ltd at Unit 1, Urban8 Logistics Park, King’s Norton, Birmingham.
Delivered between 1 and 19 June 2026, the project involved installing a high-capacity warehouse storage system designed to maximise available space, improve operational efficiency and provide essential protection in a busy logistics environment.
The installation included:
- 583 Dexion pallet racking frames, measuring 11,000mm x 1,100mm
- 5,354 2-tonne beams, measuring 2,210mm
- 68 mesh decks for tunnel areas
- 583 column guards
- 7 single barriers, measuring 1,100mm
- 57 double barriers, measuring 2,400mm
The 11-metre-high frames allow Giraf Logistics to make effective use of the warehouse’s vertical space, while the heavy-duty beams provide a strong and dependable solution for palletised goods. Mesh decking was also installed within tunnel areas, helping to create a practical and secure warehouse layout.
To support warehouse safety, the project included column guards and protective barriers positioned around vulnerable sections of the racking system. These components help reduce the risk of damage caused by forklifts and other materials-handling equipment.
