We’ve completed the first week of a major 12-week pallet racking installation project at Bilston, installing new pallet racking purchased directly by the client.
During week one, our installation team successfully unloaded 8 containers from a total of 40 and started erecting the first runs of pallet racking. The first section of the warehouse racking system is scheduled to be completed within the next two weeks.
The full installation includes:
- 1,871 x 11,625mm uprights
- 270 x 9,375mm uprights
- 19,206 x 3,600mm x 160mm pallet racking beams
- 160 x 2,400mm x 100mm beams
- 5,440 x 250mm row spacers
- 408 x 1,100mm guard rails
- 1,733 x 400mm upright protectors
With more than 19,000 beams and 2,000 uprights to install, this is a substantial warehouse pallet racking project requiring careful planning, experienced installers and efficient coordination of container unloading, plant and installation teams.
